The RHHS girls soccer team lost to Columbus High School 2-1 Wednesday in double overtime after penalty kicks in the second round of the state playoffs to end their season.

The RHHS boys soccer team lost to LaGrange High School 3-1 Tuesday in the second round of the state playoffs to end their season.

Also on Wednesday, the RHHS boys tennis team beat Spalding High School 5-0 in the state tournament. They will now advance to the Elite 8 round against Columbus, which takes place Friday 2 p.m. at home. If they continue to win, the next steps would be the Final Four as they aim toward a state title.
