Tiffany Howard named state player of the year in Class A
Cornell, Newman make All-State team

Bryan County High School junior Tiffany Howard has been named the state Class A player of the year by the Georgia Athletic Coaches Association. 

Howard, a pitcher, led the Lady Redskins to the Elite Eight this fall and set a state Class A record for number of hits in a season with 73.

She was joined on the All State team by outfielders Sierra Cornell, a first-team selection, and Sierra Newman, who made second-team.
