Richmond Hill kayak bass angler Ron Champion recently won both a gold and silver medal as part of U.S. teams at the inaugural Pan American Bass Kayak Championship on Center Hill Lake in Tennessee.

Champion, who is one of the country’s top kayak anglers, leaves July 15 for the World Championship’s in Australia.
