Hendrix Park

Hendrix Park Youth Recreation Association is now taking registration for football and cheerleading. Sign-ups are Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. at the new baseball complex and August 18 from 9 a.m.-12 noon at the football field. Deadline for football & cheerleading registration is Aug. 18.

Soccer registration is Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. and Aug. 29 and 30 from 6-7:30 p.m. at the new baseball complex. Age for soccer are 4-8. The fee for soccer is $45 and the registration deadline is Sept. 7.

RHMS football

The RHMS Wildcat football team will be having a scrimmage against Long County Aug. 23 at 4 p.m. It will be at the RHHS football field, and the cost will be $3 per person. Another scrimmage will take place August 30 at 5 p.m. versus Bryan County at Redskin Field.

RHHS football

Chain baseball

The Savannah-based Chain Baseball Acadamy is announcing sign ups for the 2007 Fall Instructional League. Ages are from 8-15. Also, the 18U fall league will begin on Sept. 15 and consist of approximately ten teams playing double headers on Saturdays and one or two out of town tournaments.
