Savannah Country Day runs past BCHS

Savannah Country Day scored 35 unanswered points in the first half to beat Bryan County 35-7 on homecoming night in Pembroke.

 Bryan County's lone touchdown came with 2:07 remaining in the game, when senior quarterback Albert Chavis found the endzone on a 15-yard carry.

Chavis led the Redskins with 65 yards rushing on 19 carries and completed 3 of  10 passes for 45 yards. Freshman receiver Ty Wilson caught two passes for 25 yards. Mannie Smith had six tackles and an interception to lead Bryan County defensively.
