The Richmond Hill Recreation Association hosted the annual "Battle of the Hill" baseball tournament over the weekend. It included 28 teams competing in a four-day tournament at Richmond Hill Park. The tournament started Thursday, June 5 and ran through Sunday, June 8. The tournament was a double elimination tournament where you have to lose twice to be eliminated. A Home Run Derby also took place.

Here are the Battle of the Hill winners:

- 7/8 Boys Division: first place - Pooler All Stars, second place - South Georgia Braves

- 9/10 Boys Division: first place - Pooler All Stars, second place - Hendrix Park All Stars

- 11/12 Boys Division: first place - Savannah Braves, second place – Richmond Hill Shockers

- 9/10 Girls Division: first place - Wayne County All Stars, second place - Pooler All Stars

- 11/12 Girls Division: first place - Rincon Angels, second place - Island Girls, Savannah.

Here are the Home Run Derby winners:

- 9/10 Girls - Chelsea Lyons from Wayne County All Stars with 5 homeruns.

- 11/12 Girls - Tabitha Harriel from the Rincon Angels with 5 homeruns.

- 7/8 Boys Division - Stephen Wills from the Richmond Hill All Stars with 4 homeruns

- 9/10 Boys Division - Chase Marine from the Shockers with 5 homeruns (after two tie breakers!)

- 11/12 Boys Division - Bryce Evans from the Savannah Braves with 5 homeruns
