Redskin golfers split with Tattnall

The Bryan County High School golf team hit the links at Black Creek Golf Course for a home match against visiting Tattnall County on Thursday, March 27. The number two seemed to be the catalyst on this sunny afternoon as the Lady Skin golfers won their match by two strokes, while the Redskin boys found themselves on the flipside of two as they lost their match by two strokes.

The low medalilsts for Bryan County went to Lynn Nelson and Hannah Ethridge.

The Redskin boys couldn’t quite swing their way to victory on this day, but Coach Morgan Jersey said this was in spite of a strong showing from Redskin Josh Temple.

"Josh is normally our number four player, but today he had to step in and play our number three position and found himself cutting ll strokes off of his score from his previous match, and that was a tremendous improvement and effort," said Jersey.
