With weather shortening the day for the Richmond Hill’s NFL Flag League games on Sunday, several games will have to be made up in Week Five, but some teams did finish their games and move closer to knowing if they will make the playoffs or not.
In the Lombardi Division, the Commanders just snuck by the Buccaneers late in the game to take the win by a score of 26-25. The Vikings and Falcons also played a tight game, with the Vikings winning by a touchdown, 31-24. The Cardinals closed their game out with a 28-18 victory over the Ravens.
In the lone second and third grade game, known as the Shula Division, the Jets would cruise to a comfortable win over the Bengals, with a 20-6 win.
In the Madden Lower Division, the 49ers blew by the Texans with a 40-19 win. The Steelers had their way with the Broncos, winning their game 31-12.
With the updated rankings, the Cardinals and Commanders have a firm hold over first place in the Lombardi Division, as both teams sit at 4-0 on the season. The Ravens are the lone 2-2 team, while the Vikings and the Falcons both sit at 1-3. The Buccaneers are currently at sixth place at 0-4.
In the Shula Division, the Bengals are in first place with a 3-1 record. The Chargers and the Titans share second place in the division at 2-1. The Jets follow those teams at 2-2 and both the Bills and the Colts are sitting at 0-2 for the spring season.
In the Lower Madden Division, the Panthers and the Dolphins split first place with undefeated 3-0 records. The Steelers follow them with a 3-1 record and the Broncos and 49ers are tied with a 1-3 record. The Texans are still in search of their first win, as they are 0-4.
In the Upper Madden Division, the top two teams, the Rams and the Seahawks, who were both undefeated prior to their game, squared off with the Rams coming out on top. They are the sole division leader at 4-0, with the Seahawks in second at 3-1. The Bears, Raiders and Patriots follow them with a 2-1 record. The Jaguars, Lions and Chiefs are after those teams with a 1-2 record. Both the Cowboys and the Giants are in search of their first wins of the year, at 0-3.
The games that were delayed by the weather from Week Four will be made up in the evening of week five to round out playoff seedings for those teams that have it.
