Richmond Hill High School’s wrestling team is competing in the state Class AAAAAA team dual wrestling championship Jan. 16-18 in Macon.

The Wildcats won the Region 2-AAAAAA duals tournament held last weekend at Effingham County.

Richmond Hill’s boys basketball team improved to 16-4 with a 57-50 win over visiting Camden County in a non-region matchup game Tuesday.

Three players scored in double figures for the Wildcats. Jaeden Marshall led the way with 15 points while Ethan Pickett finished with 11 and Brayden Baker had 11 for the Wildcats.

The Lady Wildcats fell to Camden County, 42-27, to drop to 13-7 overall.

Both teams are 2-2 in Region 2-AAAAAA. They play host to South Effingham on Friday.

Bryan County’s boys fell 77-24 to Metter to drop to 0-19 on the season.

The girls improved to 16-3 with a 47-28 win over Metter in the Region 2-AA doubleheader.

The Redskins play host to Toombs County in another 2-AA doubleheader on Friday.
