RHHS and BCHS both had golf competitions Tuesday with the Wildcats losing to Calvary at Waterford Landing and the Redskins tying with MCA at Black Creek.

In what was a rematch with Calvary, the Richmond Hill Wildcat golf team experienced some mid-season slippage, as number one Tyler Steptoe struggled to a 41, Phillip Wolford fell to a 54, and Blake Beason and Kyle Brannstrom could only manage a pair of 56’s.

Number two, Jason Lampson did score a season low 45, but it was not enough as the visiting Calvary team posted a 174 behind low medalist Jamie Rahn, who shot 39.

In BCHS golf action, it was a rare occurrence indeed as both the boys and girls tied with MCA on Tuesday.

The Lady Redskins and MCA ended 106-106 while the boys ended 213-213.

BCHS and RHHS had a cross-county rivalry match last night at Black Creek, but results were not available at press time.
