The Bryan County High Redskins were on the losing end of the gridiron again Friday, as the Calvary Cavaliers sent the Redskins back to Pembroke with a 35-0 loss .
The Cavaliers offense rode the legs of running back Stephen Williams who scored twice in the first quarter on runs of 40 and 4 yards. QB Dom Demassi connected with Stephon Williamson on a 26-yard pass in the second quarter and Williams added a 60 yard gallop in the second quarter to send the Cavaliers into the locker room at half with 28-0 lead.
The final Calvary score came in the third quarter when Demassi hit Ryan Williams on a 13-yard pass.
Bryan County found themselves in penalty mode to start the game on their first series of plays. Even when the score stood at 14-0, the Redskins threatened with an 85-yard kickoff run by Lawrence Eredosima to the end zone, but a penalty nullified the score. Bryan County never could mount any other scoring threats throughout the game.
Bryan County will host Claxton next Friday in Pembroke.
