football

Alex Floyd, Contributor

Welcome back readers to another heart thumpin’, chest bumpin’, ain’t dat sumpin’ edition of the Pembroke Football Mafia League. I’m your part time pontificator and pigskin picker Alex Floyd filling in for Boss Whitten as he attends to the vigorous duties of a retired newspaper mogul.

This week’s episode comes as a Special Edition from the Bryan County Commission Annual Retreat deep in the slurry bowels of an undisclosed location. Our Chairman is a professional pharmaceutical sales rep so this years’ retreat is brought to you by Dammitall: “Just when you think you’ve heard it all there’s more Dammitall.” Once the sessions were over Tuesday afternoon and Doc Wallace put everyone’s teeth back in, a little howler monkey reminded me that we had games to pick this week so here goes!
