Tuesday nights, fans can tune in to Lowcountryradio.com, or come on out to the socially-distanced tailgate atmosphere at Papa’s Pizza to Go to see and hear the Wildcats Coaches Show face-to-face.
Charlie Moon hosts the show and Brock Vaigneur kicks in analysis. Broadcast live on Lowcountryradio.com, Charlie and Brock have weekly sit-downs with Wildcats Coach Matt LeZotte, players, and booster President John Dunivan.
LCR owner/founder Freddy Howell says, “It’s great we’re helping connect the community with the coaches and the team. It’s a community thing.” LeZotte loves the live show atmosphere. “It creates an atmosphere that is real and unscripted. Having players on the show along with coaches allows for true feelings to be shared with answers. The venue is amazing and Papas Pizza is extremely accommodating to our athletes and families who attend.”
The Wildcat Cheerleaders are staples as well.
“Having cheer involved is important b/c we compete hand in hand on Friday nights,” LeZotte said. Although the show currently focuses on RHHS football and the weekly sit-down with Lezotte, the show spreads love to other RHHS coaches and players. Next week, the show will visit with basketball coaches Billy Henderson and Sarah Jones, as they tip off what should be a great season.
Plans are to continue the live show once or twice per month, at the conclusion of football season. Make sure to tune in to Lowcountryradio.com Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m. to hear all the conversations, fun and surprises! Or, come on out to the social-distanced tailgate atmosphere at Pappas Pizza To Go in Richmond Hill.
