Wildcats win in a thriller against Glynn Academy 20-17

The Richmond Hill High School Wildcats defeated the Glynn Academy Red Terrors 20-17 in a Region 3-AAAAA contest Friday night at Wildcat Stadium.

The Wildcats defense allowed only 121 yards. Senior defensive end Zach Stegner led the way with six solo tackles. Junior linebacker Nathan Solaita, senior linebacker Zahne Roberts and senior defensive back Quanzel Blow each had 4 solo tackles.

Senior quarterback Dominique Allen led the offense with 127 yards and a touchdown on 27 carries. Allen also completed three passes for 38 yards and two TDs to junior Nick Fitzgerald, the latter with 11 seconds remaining to put RHHS on top for good.

Senior running back David Katzman ran for 82 yards on 19 carries. The Wildcat offense totaled 277 yards on the evening.

The Wildcats are now 1-0 in Region 3-AAAAA and move to 4-0 on the season.
