Wildcats romp to 44-14 win

Richmond Hill High School held off a second half push from Jenkins to win 44-14 on Friday night in Garden City.

Senior running back David Katzman led the Wildcats with three touchdown runs and 221 yards rushing on 26 carries.

 

Senior quarterback Dominique Allen added 93 yards and two TDs on 12 carries. Allen also threw for one TD to junior receiver Nick Fitzgerald, a 90 TD bomb.

 

Junior Michael Clark added 66 yards on three carries and senior kicker Canon Rooker was a perfect 5 for 5 on extra point tries and added a 23-yd field goal.

 

Sophomore defensive back Tommy Washington led the defense with eight tackles. Junior defensive back Ian Chandler, junior defensive back Kwanzel Blow and junior linebacker Logan Ravita each added four tackles.

Blow  and Chandler each grabbed an interception while Ravita racked up two sacks. Junior linebacker Demetrius Williams had three tackles and an interception.

 

Richmond Hill totaled 520 yards of offense on the way to the team’s seventh win of the season. Next up for Richmond Hill is Windsor Forest.
