The dream of a state track and field title is still alive in Bryan County. On both ends.

Bryan County High School and Richmond Hill High School will both be represented at their respective state meets beginning later this week.

Bryan County sends eight athletes to the Class A meet, including Tiffany Howard, Sierra Newman, Shaliyah Fabin, Alli Thompson, Kaylee Perks and the school’s 4x400 and 4x100 teams, which consist of Howard, Newman, Fabin, Thompson and alternate Macy Newman. Also going from BCHS are Trent Minis and Ryan Horton.

Richmond Hill High School will send Nikki Shields and Amanda Elliott to the state Class AAAA meet.
