Richmond Hill’s boys and girls basketball teams will be playing for their own championship tonight in the Richmond Hill Holiday Classic.

The Wildcats advanced after holding off a pesky Long County High School squad for a 55-48 win Thursday.

Trey Deloach led the scoring with 12 points while Montest Bumpers and Sheldon Lewis chipped 11 points each. Deloach also pulled down 12 rebounds. Trey Gandy had seven.

The Wildcats play Camden County at 8 p.m. tonight in the tournament.

The Lady Wildcats also face Camden County after Richmond Hill beat Long County 57-47 on Thursday. No individual stats were available. The girls’ game tips off at 6:30 p.m.
