Recreation basketball
Registration for Richmond Hill basketball ages 5 to 18 is open through Oct. 31 with no late fee. Cost is $60 for full season. Late registration begins Nov. 1 and is on a space available basis. For more information go to www.RHRASports.org or call 756=-4075.

Rec wrestling
Registration for Richmond Hill wrestling is open through Nov. 19. Season runs through March. Cost is $125, which covers USAW card, t-shirt and coaching at monthly tournaments. Open to ages 7-18. For more information go to www.RHRASports.org or call 756-4075.

Coaches needed
The South Bryan Recreation Department needs coaches for youth sports. Register online today by going to the coaches tab and selecting the sport of your choice. For more information visit www.RHRASports.org.

All-Region picks for spring sports announced

Richmond Hill placed several players on their respective All-Region teams in Region 2-AAAAAA for tennis and soccer after all four teams made it to their respective state tournaments this spring.

In girls’ soccer, first-team selections were Grace Kiser, Ruthie Riley, Carly Vargas and Ellie Filamonczuk. Honorable mention went to Bella Martinez. Arianna Page and Lexi Merry.

For boys’ soccer, Joseph Petrino, Agboade Sobowale, Roman Alvarez, Trever Blitchington and Cristian Marquez made first team.

For girls’ tennis, Hannah Yontz, Megan Bausch and Stephanie Harter all made the second team at singles, as did the doubles team of Bailey Lopata and Caren Bausch.

For the boys, Jackson Martin was first team singles and Alec Shermer was second team singles. Zach Sewell received honorable mention.
