Run at work, or school
Join Georgia Game Changers Running Company’s Sandra Elliott at J.F. Gregory Park at noon Friday to walk or run at your own pace to celebrate Road Runners of America’s National Run at Work and School Day.
Organizers in communities across the nation will hold events at schools and businesses to encourage people to take 30 minutes a day to exercise.
Elliott said thought it would be great for Richmond Hill residents to join in the fun during their lunch hour. She added: “I know that elementary schools here are planning events for the kids, and Coach Levi Sybert, the Richmond Hill High School Cross Country Coach is hosting a two-hour Wetlands Adventure Relay as well.”
Participants can sign up for the lunch hour event at the store’s Facebook page, under the events section. There is no fee to participate, and people are encouraged to spread the word and encourage friends to come as a group. Georgia Game Changers will provide water and fruit.
