Run, breakfast for boys home

The Women’s Board of Bethesda Academy has set the Yates Astro Resolution 5K Trail Run and Pancake Breakfast for Jan. 9.

It goes through Bethesda’s 650-acre campus. Runners will make their way through the 3.1-mile course, which winds down scenic roads, grass paths, along the Moon River and gardens under century-old oak trees.

Proceeds benefit the Women’s Board of Bethesda for the improving the lives of the boys at Bethesda.
Participants can register in advance online at www.fleetfeetsavannah.com/bethesda or www.runsignup.com or in person at Fleet Feet Sports Savannah, 3405 Waters Ave. Race day signup is allowed.

Events that Saturday will begin with registration and check-in at 7:30 a.m. The race begins at 8:30 a.m. Afterward, there will be a pancake breakfast sponsored by Optim Orthopedics.

Bethesda is at 9520 Ferguson Ave., Savannah.

Registration through Dec. 31 is $25 and goes up to $35 starting Jan. 1. Registration includes the pancake breakfast. Additional breakfasts can be purchased for friends and family for $3 each.
