RHHS softball team raising funds for breast cancer awareness
Strike out cancer T-shirts available until Monday.

The Richmond Hill High School softball team will have two breast cancer awareness nights this season.

"Strike Out Cancer," is Tuesday, Sept. 11 at 6 p.m. vs Effingham County and Thursday, Sept. 13 starting at 4:30pm vs Bradwell Institute. 

Amber Jones, breast cancer survivor and teacher from Richmond Hill will throw out the first pitch on Sept. 13. 

The Lady Wildcats are raising money for a local cancer foundation, yet to be determined.

The team will is selling  "Strike Out Cancer" T-Shirts for $12 each up to XL, bigger sizes are available for an additional charge.

For more information or to donate contact Coach Angie Hummeldorf at ahummeldorf@bryan.k12.ga.us. The deadline to order is Monday, Sept. 3 by 8 a.m. and payment is due by Wednesday, Sept. 5.
