The Richmond Hill girls’ soccer team beat Forest Park 10-0 at home Thursday night in the opening round of the AAAAAA state tournament.

The Wildcats got on the board less than four minutes into the game on a goal by Carly Vargas and built an 8-0 lead by halftime.

Vargas, Makayla Nudo and Olivia Filamonczuk each scored two goals, while Peyton Butler, Jada Carnine, Grace Kiser and Samantha Howley added one each.

Madeline Martinson, Anna Busteed, Jada Carnine, Ally Denius, Logan Martin and Kiser had one assist apiece. Neither Isabella Martinez nor Bailey King faced any shots on goal.

The Wildcats, now 11-7-1, host Allatoona Tuesday night. Game time has yet to be announced.
