Jacob White tossed two touchdowns and Ty Smith hit a 40-yard field goal, but it wasn’t enough as No. 5-ranked Calvary Day (2-0) knocked off Bryan County High School 28-17 on Saturday at Memorial Stadium.

The game was moved back a day and the location was changed because of sloppy field conditions at Calvary Day.

White threw a 64-yard TD pass to Mannie Smith and connected with Kajana Dixon on a 26-yard score.

White finished with 11 completions in 20 attempts for 178 yards for the Redskins, who fell to 0-1.

Nick Scott rushed 19 times for 62 yards and caught two passes for 44 yards.

Smith caught four passes for 102 yards and the TD while Dixon finished with one catch for 27 yards and his TD.

Raekwon Love had one catch for four six yards.

The Redskins play host to Toombs County on Friday night. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m.
