The boys and girls tennis teams at Bryan County High School won their season opener by beating New Hampstead.

The Redskins won 5-0. The Lady Redskins won 4-1. The matches were played Feb. 21 at BCHS.

No. 1 singles: Bradley Hoover (BCHS) won by forfeit

No. 2 singles: Jay Patel (BCHS) won by forfeit

No. 3 singles: Jeffrey Covington (BCHS) beat Jimmy Aguilar (NHHS) 8-0

No. 1 doubles: Lance Smith and Cody Natvik (BCHS) won by forfeit

No. 2 doubles: Jordan Crosby and Andrew Ferreira (BCHS) won by forfeit

No. 1 singles: Haley Ware (NHHS) beats Janki Patel (BCHS) 8-4
