Redskins at Plankenhorn Invitational

The Bryan County High School boys and girls track teams competed Saturday at the 11th annual Derrick Plankenhorn Invitational at Southeast Bulloch.

Among the top performers for BCHS were Alli Thompson, who was second in the girls’ 100-meter hurdles with a time of 16.81; Kaylee Perks, who took second in the girls’ discus with a throw of 87 feet, 5 inches; Damion Dixon, who placed second in the boys’ discus with a distance of 122-7, and Raekwon Love, who was third in the boys’ 100-meter dash with a time of 11.35 seconds.

Teams competing were BCHS, Effingham County, Portal, Savannah Christian, Screven County, South Effingham and Southeast Bulloch.
