Richmond Hill High School suffered its first Region 3-AAAAA baseball loss Tuesday, falling 3-2 to Glynn Academy in Brunswick.
The Wildcats held a 1-0 lead over the Red Terrors until the fifth inning, when two errors on the same play allowed two of the Terrors' three runs to score and Glynn escaped with the win.
Richmond Hill is 5-8 overall and 4-1 in 3-AAAAA.
Lady Wildcats roll
The Richmond Hill High School Lady Wildcats blanked Ware County 6-0 on Tuesday in a Region 3-AAAAAA girls’ soccer match in Waycross.
Kayla Taylor and Kaitlynn Martinson led RHHS with two goals each. Lisa Bausum and Marzjan Mustafa each had a goal and an assist . Keeper Caroline Smith recorded one save.
