Richmond Hill wrestlers trounce Warriors
The Richmond Hill High School wrestling team improved to 18-5 by trouncing Jenkins 74-3 on Tuesday in Savannah. The Warriors managed only one win in the match.
The Wildcats return home Jan. 28 to compete against Benedictine and Savannah Christian before Richmond Hill hosts the Region 3-AAAAA tournament beginning Jan. 31.

Wildcats pick up win over Knights
Daniel Wilder and Montrell Washington scored 26 and 25 points, respectively, to pace Richmond Hill High School to a 73-62 win over Windsor Forest on Tuesday in a Region 3-AAAAA matchup.
Washington also pulled down 12 rebounds. Derrick Larence was the only other player in double figures with 11 points. Brandon Schreiber led the team in assists with six.
The win improves the Wildcats to 4-12 overall and 3-4 in 3-AAAAA.
In the girls’ game, the Lady Wildcats improved to 11-5 overall and 5-2 in the region with a 46-25 win over the Lady Knights (1-13, 1-8). No individual stats were available.
Richmond Hill plays Wayne County in a nonregin doubleheader tonight in Jesup.

Lady Redskins down Blue Tide
Bryan County High School downed Long County 56-38 in a Region 2-AA girls’ basketball game Tuesday in Ludowici. While no individual stats were available, the win improves the Lady Redskins to 8-9 overall and 3-5 in 2-AA.
Boys results were not posted. Bryan County plays host to Vidalia in a region doubleheader today beginning at 4 p.m.

Sailing team wins Lake Meyer regatta
The Richmond Hill High School sailing club won the Lake Meyer Regatta in Savannah on Jan. 11. Team results RHHS 27, Beaufort Academy 45, Lake Norman 50, Beaufort 64, Savannah Country Day 84, Islands 100, Glynn Academy 105, Brunswick 110, St. Vincent’s 124, Hilton Head Prep 125, Frederica Academy 129, Wando 145.
