Richmond Hill High School’s Samantha Mault has been named the Region 3-AAAAA Pitcher of the Year, while RHHS’s Angie Hummeldorff was picked as the region’s softball Coach of the Year, according to information Friday from the school.

Adriana Garrett, Hannah Fitzgerald and Morgan Hunter received all-region honors. Madeline Gorsuch, Jess Kifferly and Haley Taylor received region honorable mention.

Shelby Wilson of Effingham County was selected as the region’s Player of the Year.
