Richmond Hill High School knocked off Statesboro, 59-50,in the Region 2-AAAA championship game Saturday night in Richmond Hill.
Richmond Hill was led by Aliyah Johnson, who scored a game-high 26 points.
The Lady Blue Devils were led by Shanice Walker, who scored 18 points.
Richmond Hill (24-2) will be a No. 1 seed when the girls' Class AAAA tourney begins next week. The Lady Wildcats will play the No. 4 seed from Region 1-AAAA. That will be either Bainbridge or Lee County.
