The Hendrix Park 14U softball team, left,the Bryan County Beasts, took first place in the Georgia Recreation and Parks Association District 2 tournament on Wednesday in Baxley. The wins advance the Beasts to the GRPA 14U state tournament on July 12-14 in Eastman. The Hendrix Park 14U softball team won the Georgia Recreation and Parks Association District 2 title on Wednesday in Baxley.

The win advances Hendris Park’s 14U team, the Bryan County Beasts, to the GRPA state tournament July 12-14 in Eastman.

Hendrix Park, coached by Dennis Seger, beat Jeff Davis in a best-of-three series to win the District 2 crown thanks to hot bats and solid pitching.
