Game Changers holds run for heros

Richmond Hill-based Georgia Game Changers Running Company held a run Saturday morning to honor those who put out fires and sometimes die in the effort.
“We did this to not only honor the fallen firefighters of Arizona, but also to increase awareness of and recognition of local firefighters and the sacrifices they make. We also wanted to ensure the local area was aware of the Bryan County Fallen Firefighter Memorial at Henderson Park,” Georgia Game Changers owner Sandra Elliott said.
Nearly 30 runners showed up for the run, including soldiers, dependents, firefighters wives and, Elliott said, even the daughter of a late firefighter who carried a flag during the run.
