Former Lady Wildcat star now team's coach

Richmond Hill High School girls’ basketball underwent a change in leadership over the offseason when former girls’ coach Elizabeth Bennett stepped down to take an assistant principal’s job at Richmond Hill Middle School.
She was replaced by former Lady Wildcat Sarah Brown, who played at RHHS from 1999-9003 and earned MVP honors while joining both the 1,000-point club, being selected first-team All-Region 2-AAA team and was a Wendy’s Heisman nominee.
Brown went on to Armstrong Atlantic State University, where she played for the Lady Pirates from 2003-2007
Her accolades while in college included being named to the Peachbelt Conference Presidential Honor Roll, getting the coaches award and being a team captain.
