The boys’ basketball program at Bryan County High School hasn’t won much in recent years, but New Redskins coach David Elmore believes that’s about to change.
"It’s a whole new start," Elmore said. "I feel that with the talent level we have and the ability we have here at Bryan County, I’d put us up against anybody in our region."
Elmore, a Georgia Southern and Savannah Christian grad who earned a golf scholarship to LSU before winding up at GSU, spent last season as an assistant under former Richmond Hill High School boys’ coach William Altman, now at Metter.
It was Altman’s body of work at RHHS that helped convince BCHS principal Dr. Dawn Hadley that Elmore was right for the job.
