Busy week for high school playoffs

Various teams from Richmond Hill and Bryan County high schools have a busy week ahead in state tournament play. Here is a look at what is on tap.

RHHS tennis: The girls’ team faces Allatoona and the boys’ team faces Sequoyah in the Sweet 16 at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Henderson Park.

BCHS boys’ soccer: The Redskins make their second-ever appearance in the state tournament when they host Glenn Hills at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday.

RHHS girls’s soccer: Hosting Forest Park at 5 p.m. Thursday.

RHHS baseball: Hosting Stephenson in a best-of-three series. Double-header starts at 3:30 p.m. Friday, with the “if necessary” game at 1 p.m. Saturday.

RHHS boys’ soccer: Hosting Mt. Zion at 6 p.m. Friday.

Track and Field: Bryan County’s sectional qualifiers will compete Saturday at Fitzgerald High School, while Richmond Hill’s qualifiers will compete Saturday in Atlanta.
