The Liberty County boys’ basketball team wrapped up the Statesboro Gentlemen’s Classic Tournament by beating Bryan County 74-50 Tuesday night.

The win meant the Panthers went 3-0 in tournament play. Liberty beat Johnson 94-63 Saturday and beat Southeast Bulloch 72-43 Monday.

Against the Redskins, Panther Will Richardson was named the Player of the Game after the sophomore hit a game-high 27 points and grabbed
13 rebounds for a double-double. Mitchell also had a double-double, with 12 points and 15 assists.

Tyriq Reece and Freeman rounded out the Panthers’ double-digit scorers with 13 and 10 points, respectively.

Bryan County will play McIntosh County Academy in Darien on Tuesday.
