A.J. Wiley of Bryan County has signed to play baseball for East Georgia State College, according to a news release.
Wiley, a recent transfer from South Effingham, was one of seven players who signed with the EGSC program on Friday.
“A.J. is a physical corner infielder with potential to hit in the middle of our lineup,” EGSC coach Matthew Passauer said in the release. “From everything we have heard and witnessed, A.J. will also be a potential leader on the field. He has a high baseball IQ, which will be another great asset.”
EGSC is a member of the National Junior College Athletics Association.
