Richmond Hill High School senior and Wildcat top runner Amanda Elliott will head to the Air Force Academy in the fall to run on the school's cross country and track and field team.

The news came Tuesday in the form of an officail recruitment letter, according to Elliott's mother, Sandra Elliott.

"Air Force Academy does not participate in the National Signing Day, but (Amanda) has to sign a letter of intent and return it, which she will do (Wednesday)," Sandra Elliott said.
