8 and under girls softball

Hendrix Park team coached by Annette Miller played Sassy Sisters coached by Daniel Sapp. For Miller’s team Arien Hodge had an RBI in the 4th inning. Delanee McFarland had a double in the 4th inning. Jailyn Morgan had an RBI in the 5th inning. The final Score was Miller 10 and Sassy Sisters 9.

 

April 29

12 and under boys baseball

The Badgers coached by Eddie Shuman played Braves coached by Bubba Banks. For the Badgers Robbie Shuman pitched the entire game with 7 strike outs, he was 1 for 2 with an RBI and a run scored. Grant Tillman was 1 for 3 with a run scored. Christopher Gerrald scored a run. Matthew Price was 1 for 3. For the Braves Kyle Koskela pitched the entire game. Dylan Saxon was 2 for 3 with a triple and a run scored. Todd Schaffer was 1 for 3 with a double and a RBI. Logan Howard was 1 for 2. The final score for the Badgers was 3 and the Braves were 1.

 

May 1

8 and under girls softball

The Heartbreakers coached by Jack Barfield played Annette Miller’s Hendrix Park team. For Miller’s Team DeLanee McFarland had a triple and a home run and 2 RBI’s. Arien Hodge had 2 RBI’s. Emily Strickland had a RBI. Courtney Kirkland had a triple and a home run. Jailyn Morgan had a triple. The final score was the Heartbreakers 4 and Miller’s team 18.

 

12 and under girls softball

Hendrix Park Heat played Pooler. Macy Newman was 1 for 1 with 2 walks, a home run, 3 runs scored, 4 RBI’s and 4 stolen bases to earn her the MVP game ball. Taylor Butler threw 2 near perfect innings to run her and the Heats record to 5 and 0 for the season. Victoria Pruitt pitched the last inning to preserve the shut out win. Taylor Butler was 1 for 2 with a home run, 2 runs scored and 4 RBI’s. Alana Walker was 1 for 2 with 1 run scored and 1 RBI. Victoria Pruitt was 1 for 1 with 2 walks and 3 runs scored. Kaitlyn Meekins was 1 for 1 with 2 walks and 2 runs scored.

Seniorita Ivey was 1 for 2 with a home run and 2 runs scored. Kennedy Godwin and Maigan Gibson both scored 2 runs. Aaliyah Carter, Maegan Payne and Ashley Shiver all scored a run. The final Score was the Heat 21 and Pooler 0.

May 2

12 and under boys baseball

The Vikings coached by Christian Gordon played the Badgers coached by Eddie Shuman. For the Vikings Jeremy McClendon was 2 for 3 with a triple and a run scored. Brent Gordon was 2 for 2 with a double and a run scored. Caleb Wright was 2 for 2. Trey Williams was 1 for 2. For the Badgers Grant Tillman and Austin Griffin both scored 2 runs each. Matthew Price was 2 for 3 with a double and 2 runs scored. Dalton Raulerson was 2 for 3 with a triple and 2 runs scored. Christopher Gerrald was 2 for 2 with a walk and 3 runs scored. Robbie Shuman was 2 for 3 with an over the fence home run and 2 runs scored. Jonathan Sparks scored a run. Chad Billman scored 2 runs. The final score was The Badgers 16 and the Vikings 3.

 

May 5

8 and under girls softball

The Lil Hot Shots coached by Annette Miller played the Sassy Sisters coached by Daniel Sapp. For the Lil Hot Shots Kaytlynn Bibb had an RBI. MacKinzie Miller had a double. Delanee McFarland had a home run and 3 RBI’s. Arien Hodge had 2 RBI’s. The final score was the Lil Hot Shots 12 and the Sassy Sisters 6.

12&under Boys Baseball

The Hornets coached by Jamie Jeffers played the Badgers coached by Eddie Shuman. For the Hornets Jacob White was 1 for 2 with a double and a run scored. Damen Oehlerking had an RBI. Justin Gunn was 1 for 2. Joshua Burns scored a run. Billy Crowe was 1 for 1 with a triple and a run scored. Joshua Jones was 1 for 2 with 2 RBI’s. For the Badgers Grant Tillman was 1 for 2 with a RBI and 2 runs scored. Austin Griffin was 1 for 2 with 2 runs scored. Matthew Price had a RBI and a run scored. Dalton Raulerson was 3 for 3 with a single, a double and a grand slam home run. Robbie Shuman was 3 for 3 with 2 doubles, a triple, a run scored and 3 RBI’s. Jonathan Sparks and Chad Billman both scored a run. The final score was the Hornets 3 and the Badgers 14.

14&under Boys Baseball

The Shockers came out swinging against Pooler 1 team coached by Licks, with the first 3 batters scoring runs. It was Corey Cook with 4 RBI’s and was 3 for 3 with 2 doubles. Shane Dillion had 2 RBI’s with 2 for 3, followed by Dalton Cook with 1 RBI and was 3 for 3. Alone with Jimmy Calhoun with 1 RBI and was 2 for 3, Dylan McCoy followed suit with 1 RBI and was 2 for 3. Dakota Cook was 1 for 2 with a double; Timothy Strickland walked and then advanced by a balk and scored off a double by Corey Cook. The Shockers had strong pitching from Preston Davis who pitched 3 innings with 8 strike outs and only giving up 2 runs in the bottom of the third. Shane Dillion came in top of fourth with 9 strike outs and only letting Pooler score 1 run in the bottom of the 5th. Shockers won with a 9 to 3 score.
