STATESBORO — Evan Challenger and Aaron Mizell were named to the College Sports Madness’ All-Sun Belt Conference First Team.
Challenger posted a 5-3 record and ranked second in the Sun Belt with a 2.03 ERA. He struck out 58 batters to just 22 walks over 80 innings. The redshirt sophomore left-hander allowed just 10 extra-base hits and held opponents to a .237 batting average.
Mizell hit .292 with a .380 on-base percentage and .539 slugging percentage with 12 doubles and 12 home runs. He was second on the team with a .292 batting average and led the squad in both runs scored (46) and RBI (40).
