Golf outing helps two BCHS teams

The second annual Mikell Foxworth Memorial Golf Tournament is scheduled for June 2 at Black Creek Golf Club. The event is being put on by the Red Clay Diamond Club, which was established in 2016 to raise funds in support of Bryan County High School’s baseball and softball teams. Foxworth was a lifelong Bryan County resident and former Redskins baseball player who was also active as a recreation league coach and umpire.

New football stadium, facilities give Richmond Hill more to cheer for

When the Wildcats opened the season Monday night against Glynn County, they were making their debut in a new state-of-the-art stadium that rivals any facility in the state other than perhaps Buford’s new $62 million playpen.
