Women who would like a better understanding of football can learn all the essentials this weekend.

In the process, they will help raise money for equipment for the Richmond Hill High School football team.

The Richmond Hill Touchdown Club will host a football clinic for women from 5-9 p.m. Saturday at the RHHS east gym.

Wildcats head coach Matt LeZotte will lead the clinic, covering topics such as football scoring, rules of the game and concussion safety.

The price is $20 for adults and $15 for students and faculty, with all proceeds going to the RHHS football program.

Light refreshments will be served. Participants are asked to wear their favorite athletic gear.
