BCHS athletic director and football coach Ron Lewis presents Mathew Dutcher with a $250 scholarship in recognition of him being awarded the Eric Edenfield Memorial Scholarship on March 25.

Dutcher was earlier awarded football MVP for this past season. He is the second recipient of this award which is funded by the law firm of Savage, Turner, Pinson and Karsman. Redskin football player Alkeem Collins won it last year.

The award was created in the memory of Redskin football alum Edenfield who died in an automobile accident in 2006.
