Dolphin Project training here Feb. 11
dolphin project

The Dolphin Project is hosting a bottlenose dolphin program and research training workshop in Richmond Hill on Feb. 11.

Participants will learn about the wild, estuarine bottlenose dolphins that live along our coast. They will also learn about how volunteers conduct photo ID dolphin research and how they can join the crew.

Skippers with boats, team leaders and photographers who have cameras with minimum of 300 mm lenses are needed.

The Dolphin Project has been conducting dolphin research off the coasts of Georgia and lower South Carolina for 28 years with a NMFS/NOAA permit.

The meeting will be from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. that Saturday at Richmond Hill Library, 9607 Ford Ave.
