The Richmond Hill Wildcat Golf team hosted a match at Waterford Landing on Monday and were outgunned by Benedictine Academy.
The Wildcats did improve on their previous best of 209 with a score of 190 led by Tyler Steptoe’s 42, and much improved 49’s from Bobby McGrath and Jason Lamson, and a 50 (his low score of the year) for Phillip Wolford.
The potent Benedictine Cadets were too much for the wildcats though, as they posted an impressive 156 total for their four scoring players. The next match for the Wildcats will be Monday at Lost Plantation versus the South Effingham Mustangs, and they will follow with matches on Tuesday and Thursday at Waterford versus Calvary and Liberty County.
