Bryan County baseball coach Kyle Farmer is taking advantage of the Redskins football team playing on the road on Sept. 12 to hold a Back To School Baseball Camp which he is billing as a date night opportunity for parents.

Unlike previous one-day camps Farmer, now in his second year, has held this one has a slightly different twist in that it will be in the evening and limited to 25 spots. Cost is $35 and the event will run from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., according to an announcement Farmer posted on the school’s Facebook page.

Farmer, his staff and players will be on hand for an evening that, Farmer said, will be an evening filled with baseball, ball park food and concluding with an old-fashioned baseball movie, The Sandlot, to wrap up the evening.
