The Richmond Hill Wildcats and the Bryan County Redskins both took the field on Sept. 17.

They played on the road with the Wildcats traveling to Warner Robins and the Redskins going to Darien to face McIntosh County Academy.

Both would return to the area with losses though.

The Wildcats lost 43-7 against Northside as the Eagles capitalized off mistakes to hold the momentum over the duration of the contest.

The Wildcats are now 0-3 as they prepare to head into region play.

The Redskins opened their region schedule in their 42-0 loss to the Buccaneers.

Their trip to Darien would be their third consecutive loss and their second shutout of the season.

They will continue their Region 3A schedule when they return home in Pembroke to play this week.
