The 2024 boys’ lacrosse season began on February 9th against Savannah Christian. The Wildcats won 18-4.

This was followed by games against Hilton Head, Savannah Country Day and Islands. During that three game stretch, the Wildcats went 2-1 with victories against HHI and Islands. Currently, we are 3-1.

This weekend (March 1 and 2) the Wildcats travel to the Jacksonville area for games against Nease High School (Ponte Vedra, FL) and Episcopal. Both of these matchups should be tough games.

The Wildcats will then return to Richmond Hill and resume their local schedule as well as area contests against the likes of Effingham, South Effingham, Greenbrier, Grovetown, Evans and Lakeside. These games will decide the Area Championship. We play in the 5A-6A Area 7 Region.

Other non-region opponents include Calvary, May River, Greater Atlanta Christian and Benedictine.

Our Wildcat lacrosse team is led this year by 12 seniors, including Josh and Brayden Auclair (midfielders), Jeremiah Jones and Ashtin Fisher (senior defensemen) Other seniors contributing to our success include: Marshall Slaughter, Adam Cardenas, Damien Artino, John Newman, Zach Morea and Gavin Middleton.

We have several juniors that are an integral part of our success including Landon Saffian, Mathias Clark, Tad Christman, Noah Ricker, Caimen Werner and Cooper Kisgen. Our goalies Jared Bransfield and Connor Auclair are both juniors and have also done a great job in goal for us.

We are looking forward to making the playoffs for the fourth straight year and making a deeper run. The last two seasons we have advanced to the second round of the GHSA playoffs in the 5-6A Classification.
