Bryan County High School held a fundraiser for its basketball programs recently.

Here's what the coaches had to say ...

Allen Clark, boysl coach: I thoroughly enjoyed myself. I had the best seat in the house because I officiated the game. It was a thrill to see so many of my former player's return. I think everyone had a great time and I heard no complaints. We are hoping that this will be an annual fundraiser. We are even considering during it twice a year. The profits from the game will be used to purchase balls and equipment so we are very excited about that. I would like to personally thank all who participated we are very thankful for the support. The crowd was great! The players were great! Overall, I could not have asked for a better experience.

Mario Mincey, girls' coach: Coach Clark and I appreciate all of the help and support. One of our goals was to have some of the older players to return so that we can get them excited about Bryan County basketball again. We hope that they will encourage and mentor the current players. I appreciate all the help by everyone involved.
