Vote for Clinton -- or maybe not
Letter to the editor

Editor, Now that Hillary Clinton is the presumptive presidential nominee of the Democratic Party, I thought that I would give the voters some reasons to vote for Hillary.

She would make a good commander-in-chief, as she would send troops into battle and then not send re-enforcements when they are attacked, just like she did in Benghazi.

She would be great with international diplomacy, as she stated that we should not build walls but bridges. I guess that she wants to build bridges over the Rio Grande to allow the illegal aliens to come and go as they please, especially the criminals who kill American citizens, such as Kate Stinele, while giving more of our tax money to sanctuary cities where these criminals can hide.

She will exert her power as president by taking our guns away so that the federal government can subjugate us all under its tyrannical thumb.

Don’t forget Bill. She will give him an office so that he can continue to get money from foreign countries for favors from the White House just as he did when Hillary was secretary of state. While in that position, the State Department approved $165 billion worth of arms sales to 20 nations whose governments have given money to the Clinton Foundation.

Her greatest task that she will take on with vigor is continuing Obamacare and bailing out the insurance companies that are going broke because of it. Of course, she will need to raise taxes to do this.

Hillary will strive to shut down the coal and oil companies, causing the taxpayers to buy expensive solar panels.

Hillary will make a good president because she tells the truth, such as when she referred to her ongoing email investigation as a "security inquiry." FBI Director James Comey has come out and said, "I don’t even know what that means, a ‘security inquiry.’ We do (criminal) investigations here at the FBI."

She doesn’t think that Donald Trump can "make America great again" because that means that he will take us backward. Did she just admit that our country is not as great as it was in the past?

Hillary supports man/woman marriage — or does she? Hillary stated in 2000, "I think a marriage is as a marriage has always been, between a man and a woman." Clinton held this position until 2013, when she said that gay Americans are "full and equal citizens and deserve the rights of citizenship, that includes marriage."

She has accomplished a first in that she is the first presidential candidate to be investigated for a crime, and she brings along with her more baggage than any porter can handle. Her greatest accomplishments are that she was married to Bill Clinton and she’s female. As we can see, she is the perfect candidate.
