Dear Editor, The Friends of the Richmond Hill Public Library would like to thank the public for its great support of our recent book/yard sale. Many people came and took advantage of the large assortment of books and in doing so supported their public library.
The annual book/yard sale is the main fundraiser for the organization, and the Friends use the funds year-round to supplement the budget of the library. This year’s sale was the best ever. The Bryan County News aided in this effort with the articles promoting the sale.
Membership to the Friends of the Library is open to anyone interested in supporting the Richmond Hill Library. Meetings are held at 10 a.m. on the second Monday of each month (except June, July and August) at the library. Dues are $10 for an individual membership and $20 for a family/business membership.
